Herbie's Spring Time
No visit to the English country side is complete without a trip to that bastion of agricultural eccentricity, the Rare Breeds farm. Apart from breeding pigs all year round that you can poke and stroke they also bring long lost lines of bull and ram onto the scene, and sometimes a the odd pygmy kid....

Ah...love it, that's two of the three of us now with sleeves rolled up living it up on the fahmmm. I'm off north tomorrow to milk for 10 days, bring on the beautiful cowshed smell. Sadly the cow I christened tessie had to go to the slaughterhouse...she wasn't a great milker. Will try to find a tessie2; can't see Mrs Chase jumping into the nearest sty in person to complete the country-roots-trio. Hugs xxx
